Nothing specific is known yet, and may never be. The team had not yet hiked out to find/retrieve her. They got her mortality signal a while ago - I think they said in the Miller Creek area, inside the Park but a distance from Lamar. Most likely natural causes.
She was a beautiful wolf.
It's such a dilemma for 480 because all the females in the pack are his daughters or nieces. From my limited observation, none of the Druid females seems to have taken up the "alpha" mantle yet, in terms of behavior. This coming mating season will be interesting.
