to start a fight or anything, but I think more were killed than were reported.

It would stand to reason that if the remaining pack members had the will or the ability to regroup, they would have done so already by heading back to Hellroaring where they had been safe and where there are still elk. If they had done that, someone would have seen them or heard them howling in the days after the alphas were killed.

That is just my opinion - I don't have any additional facts than anyone else, but I know they were looked for and none were seen.

I'm still pretty mad about it as you can probably tell (!) Those were wilderness wolves who never gave anyone any trouble and should have remained so to live or die as wild wolves.

The hunt should never have been held in that area. Totally foreseeable and excedingly poor planning on Montana's part.
