Basically we're looking for the fastest route this trip and I'm thinking it's pretty much a tossup between the I-90 route and taking Hwy 20 through Nebraska and overnighting at Casper. Casper does put us closer to Jackson than Buffalo does. I did the Hwy 20 route about 25 years ago from the Bighorns and still remember it being a beautiful drive.
