Today started off with the Blacktails at Tower Junction all nine of them were there but I only got to see two blacks, they were trying to cross the road north to south but they were afraid and went on a hill to the east and howled, they moved out of sight to the north.
I moved on to Lamar where the Druid were to the north of Coyote overlook but we couldn't find them. I was there with Hellroaring Kat, we could hear howling to the north but our view was blocked by the hill in front of us. Someone drove to Dorothy's and walked back down the road to where they could see behind the hill that obstructed our view. They found six wolves, three black and three grey, bedded on a hill about two miles away, right on the skyline.
Kathy and I went to Dorothy's and joind the others, the wolves could not be Druids because there are no greys in the pack and these wolves were lying down and all had full coats, the Druids with mange don't bed down in the snow as these wolves were doing. Eventually we found two more on the hill. in all three black and five grey, none were collared and didn't fit the description of any park packs.
